CADTH MAIN ROLE : Once Health Canada has approved a drug for use in Canada, the country’s public drug programs and cancer agencies must decide if the drug will be eligible for public reimbursement. The CADTH reimbursement review process plays an important role in their decision-making processes. ( YOU CAN SAY CADTH DECIDES .weather this new medication will be covered by the government program or not covered )

CDEC is appointed by, and reports to, CADTH’s President and CEO. Members must abide by the Conflict of Interest Guidelines for CADTH Expert Committee and Panel Members and the CADTH Code of Conduct. An honorarium is paid to CDEC members for their preparation and meeting time.
